BRRR! Welcome to winter! Moose's winter in California didn't seem all that fun either with the rain (except on baseball days), but at least he didn't have subzero temps.
Feel free to post your thoughts on the first chapters of Part II. I think that Natile is getting along well. I was really excited to see if they were really going to go on the boat to see Al Capone's mom. I thought that Piper was just lieing about that. But she wasn't. I like Moose he is funny. Piper is still really ride I think. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI think that Piper's skeem is weird. I think that Threasa shouldn't bring Rocky on the trip. Do you think that Threasa should bring Rocky on the boat. Piper is rude to Mrs. Capone. She "dropped" her bag on her foot on "accedent". What do you think of Piper's idea of going on the boat to meet Mrs. Capone?
ReplyDeleteI don't think that Ms. Capone was trying to breake Al Capone out. I think she loved rocking Rocky because she always wanted to have a baby. I don't see why she would want to still be mariied at him even though he is a robber. They must have been deeply in love.
ReplyDeleteI think Natalie is doing well. She is getting a long and getting used to being with Moose. Ms. Capone was on the boat. The metal detector went off and htye had to strip search her. It was just her corset. Teressa's mom tried to convince her that it was the last embaressment ,but she wouldn't believe her. Ms. Capone got back on the boat and left. Do you think she should have left?
ReplyDeleteI really dislike Piper she is to bossy and annoying. She thinks that she runs Alcatraz. Like come on. I did not think that it was right that Piper was rude to Mrs.Capone. Piper keep talking to Mrs. Capone and was dropping her purse on her foot on purpose. She is an obnoxious brat.

ReplyDeleteI think that it was sweet that Miss Capone calmed Rocky down by singing an Italian song. She was probably realy scared when they strip-
checked her,whatever it is spelled.And Piper should've just left her alone. I wonder what the letter was about that she was reading.

Again Piper had another sheme and again she got away with it. She has her ways of figuring out when and where important things happen. She is starting to get on my nerves. I think by the end of the book she will finally get caught. I really hope that she does. Soon I hope that Moose will figur out how to hang out with his friend and still stay away from Piper.

She keeps bugging her, and I think she is trying to ignoreing her because she doesn't get in to a huge conversation. I wonder how Moose's Christmas will go and If Piper will keep bugging Moose's.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah Molly, I think you are sooo right, beacuse if she didnt bring a gun, she wouldnt break him out or anything..But unless shes like those one ppl that sowllow the gun and does somthing with it later. But that would still be weird!! If i seen someone doing that I would like freek out..=]=]
ReplyDeleteI really think that it was really bad of Teresa to bring Rocky with them. I do not know how she will take care of a baby when she is really young.
ReplyDeleteI think Piper is a very coniving little girl. She shouldn't be allowed near any inmates and family of the inmates. She should get in big trouble for this. I mean so should Threasa should be too for bringing little Rocky.

I think it would be fn to meet Al Capone mom. It stinks that she only talks Italian. i would hate to be strip searched. I would leave just like Al's mom. What would you do.

ReplyDeleteI think that Theresa was not smart on how she brought baby Rocky on the boat. Then she gave the baby to Mrs. Capone and let her sing the baby a song in Italian. Do you think that Theresa sould of brought the baby on the boat when she went to go meet her mom on the boat? I think she should of just stayed home or went to meet her mom and stand on the grass or what ever it was and waited.

ReplyDeleteI think it was fine that Mrs. Capone left. If they untressed you and searched you, would you really want to stay. That was really stupid that Teresa brought Rocky onto the boat. What if she tripped and dropped him off the edge. At first I thought Rocky's crying would scare away Mrs. Capone. I think it would be sad if you were in jail and waiting for your mom to come, and she got scared away. What do you think?

I think that it was a mistake for Mrs. Capone to not go and see Al Capone. I think that Al will try to break out or do something of the sort.
ReplyDeleteWell, Al's mom came to Alcataz. I wonder why Theresa brought her baby brother, Rocky, to the dock.But I think it's cool when Al's mom seen Rocky crying, she went over and took him. Then, sang him a lullaby, and he went to sleep.It was also funny how when Al's mom went through the metal detactor, she had something under her shirt that made them go off. She was so embarassed. Why do you think Al's mom came to Alcatraz? Why or Why not?
ReplyDeleteI felt bad for Als mom. Having to go through that was very sad. I know that had to do it but she did not even have anything. I was about to cry not really but still. Overall I did not like her plan it was dumb again.

i think that moose is jelous of scout because he thinks that they will become more than good friends if piper finds scout a konvict baseball they will start going out and he likes piper and he wouldnt be scouts friend and that he would get sucked into her devious plans and bad ways of what she dose such as the laundrey plan
ReplyDeletei think moose is just jealous that scout likes piper. i think the might go out and moose will freak out and be a spazzoid(lolz) and he will get mad at both of them(or in pipers case, madder) and i think that moose might get caught next time if he tries to find another baseball again.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with LanaMaye. Piper's schemes are really weird. I feel bad for Al Capone's mom. She didn't get to see her son beacause of her girdle. All she did was try to look good to see her son. She doesn't even speak alot of english so it must be hard for Mrs. Capone to understand all of this emabaressment.
ReplyDeleteFootball lover why do you think it would be scary to live on the island? I mean it’s not a scary place if you think about it. It’s just like a regular island, expect for the fact criminals live there, but besides that it’s just like living in a normal island. Also why do you think piper is a brat? She acts like it, but maybe she is a nice person (I highly doubt that is how I feel about piper.) how do you feel about piper being mean to Mrs. Capone?
ReplyDeleteI think Moose going in through the fence was really cool. Sadly he didn’t find a baseball for Scout. I hope Piper doesn’t like Scout as much as Scout likes Piper.

I could see why Ms. Capone didn’t want to go into the prison. She was embarrassed and overwhelmed. I don’t think Al Capone will break out because there is another book called Al Capone shines my shoes...

ReplyDeleteI agree with you about how Teresa shouldn’t have brought Rocky along with her. For one it could have gotten all of them in trouble, and Teresa is not really old enough to take care of a baby.
I feel sorry for Al Capone's mom haveing to go see him in jail, I think that would be hard to do.But i think mosse will get a ball and just wont take it with him.
ReplyDeleteMsitting, Mrs. Capone is not married to Al Capone. Al Capone is her son. It says in the book that Mrs. Capone is going on the boat to see her son.

It seems that she wants to have another little baby. She probably really loved Al when he was a baby and wished he hadn’t turned out how he did.
Piper was being rude to Mrs. Capone. She kept on bothering her and she dropped her purse on her foot. Piper really needs to just get out of people’s way, and learn that not everything is all about her.
I wonder why Scout thinks Piper is cute? And why Moose got mad at him for it? I think it's nice of Moose to be with his sister more. He's not embarassed to have his sister follow him everywhere. Do you think Moose will get caught for going over the wall? Do you think Moose will get over the wall and might get a ball, or worse meet Al Capone?
