Welcome, students, to our book blog. In this space, we will be sharing our comments, opinions, and questions about the book Al Capone Does My Shirts. A few things to keep in mind:
1) Be sure to use appropriate conventions (spelling, punctuation, capitalization, etc.). You are writing for a wider audience than just friends.
2) Be polite in your discussion; if you disagree with someone, disagree politely, and back up your views.
3) Be thorough. In order to explore the book and to get good discussions going, you'll need to write more than a line or two. "Dig" into the book, analyze characters, share opinions, ask good open-ended questions, and get your audience thinking.
4) Check the blog often to read and respond to new posts.
